Healing Through Co-Creation

Healing Through Co-Creation

In the present epoch the process of planetary evolution has changed. As Bennett and others have pointed out, the Second Coming of Christ is not occuring as an individual human body. Instead, the Second Coming is to humanity as a whole. One way of saying it is that those who are open to the influx of Divine Love are being given access to the power of the Christ – the power of transubstantiation.

In transformation, the energy needed for progress and evolution was liberated from the old form by destroying it after prolonged and intense conflict. In transmutation, the form does not have to change: instead, the substance within the form changes, and this change of substance liberates the energy of progress and evolution.

An example of the failure of transformation in the New Age is the destruction of the former Yugoslavia. Despite intense and prolonged conflict that completely transformed the map of the region, there is still no real peace in Yugoslavia. This is because the substance of the nations involved in the conflict – the inhabitants of the territory – cannot surrender their judgements of the past (racial hatred and revenge for past atrocities), nor can they sacrifice their dreams for the future (tribal/national sovereignity and ethnic purity).

The same failure of transformation can be seen in the Middle East. No matter how hard Israel, the USA and the Palestinians seek to find an appropriate transformation of the political map, they cannot achieve peace. Again, the problem is a failure to surrender judgements of the past (claims to sacred territory) or dreams of the future (sovereign nationhood corresponding to ethnicity). The only hope for peace in the Middle East is through transmutation/transubstantiation: a fundamental change of heart on the part of the millions of people who form the substance of the warring nations.
